Join our Team as a Vision Therapist

Clarendon Vision Development Center in Westmont, IL is looking for a Vision Therapist to join our growing team.

Requirements:

• Previous experience not required. Full, paid training provided. 

• Candidates with experience and interest in early childhood education are encouraged to apply.

Vision Therapy has been shown to be an effective treatment modality for many problems affecting the vision system. As a Vision Therapist, you will be working with the doctor to coordinate and implement a vision therapy program for individuals of all ages and varied abilities. Each treatment session is a 45-minute, one-to-one experience where you will teach your patient the activities that either develop or improve a visual skill and visual processing.


Job Details:

• Paid training will be provided to learn the curriculum and teaching strategies, testing procedures, and administrative tasks associated with your role. 

• The ideal candidate has an innate love for the teaching and learning process, and our dedicated team will guide you each step of the way to turn your new role into a long-term, rewarding career.

This position is part-time, to start, and can evolve into full-time employment. Position hours are flexible and may include evenings and Saturdays.

We are Clarendon Vision Development Center, an established developmental optometry office in Westmont, IL. In addition to our optometric vision therapy treatment programs, our office also specializes in primary eyecare, near-sightedness and myopia management, and neuro-optometry.
